Artist's Description
A rural country road located in upstate New York near Lake Placid taken on a beautiful but cloudy early October day. Rain clouds in the distance hover around the mountain tops and the perfect peak fall foliage is accented by the telephone poles and wood fence and the leading lines of the road. Makes you feel that you can just drive right into the photograph and straight down the road.
When I look at the photograph, the song "Moonlight in Vermont" echoes in my head as I hear the line "Telegraph cables, they sing down the highway and travel each bend in the road"
